Digital Birmingham is helping a Birmingham café, cafelicious, reinvent itself for the digital era in a unique collaboration with an award-winning social media expert, Donato Esposito. Cafelicious in Rubery, south Birmingham, is looking to build business and spread the word about its breakfasts and lunches to a virtual network of new customers, with blogging, Twitter and social networking sites all being explored by owners Anna and Arif Latif. In addition the café is offering free wi-fi connectivity to its customers in a bid to attract more customers from the business and digital community.

Cafelicious is typical of the traditional café serving hungry workers and local residents. Already at the hub of its neighbourhood, the café is now looking to become the focus for an online community as well.
